Chamomile, full of holistic care potential

This time, THREE focuses on chamomile, a herb that has been utilized for 4,000 years.

German chamomile is rich in beneficial properties such as azulene and bisabolol and has been used to maintain healthy mind, body, and skin since antient times.

Meanwhile, Roman chamomile, whose main property is ester, is used to soothe mind and skin.

Both types of chamomile are Asteraceae plants and produce small white flowers. They look pretty from the outside but have an energetic nature, spreading their strong roots deep in the earth and fully opening flower petals toward the sun.

German chamomile essential oil from Minamiaso, Kumamoto Prefecture

Balancing Concentrate Soft Cream contains our original essential oil extracted from organic German chamomile cultivated in the THREE herbal garden in Minamiaso, Kumamoto Prefecture.

Chamomile plants are handpicked not to waste azulene, a perishable effective ingredient, and distilled by steam distillation within 24 hours. Spring water of Aso is used for distillation.

Essential oil is normally extracted from only flowers; however, THREE utilizes whole plants including leaves and stems, which have not been conventionally used. The color is deep green, displaying a more powerful impression than ordinary blue color.
